Avesta Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain properties and support vibrant communities. You’ll perform routine, emergency, and preventative repairs, care for buildings and grounds, and work closely with property management to meet high standards of safety and comfort.

This full-time, hourly non-exempt position offers on-site work in the Southern region, with on-call shifts and a wage of $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Reliable and independent individual willing to learn in a mission-based environment.
• Knowledge of general apartment and building repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, painting and light carpentry.
• Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach.
• Detail oriented with ability to complete work orders and maintain digital records via company app.
• Excellent communication and strong customer service in occupied apartments.
• Experience with technology including company-issued cell phone and related apps.
• On-call availability on a rotating schedule.
• Reliable vehicle for daily transportation; mileage reimbursement provided.
