Avesta Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, emergency and preventative repairs on on-site properties in the Southern region, ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

You’ll maintain buildings and grounds, respond to resident needs, and collaborate with management to uphold our inclusive housing mission. This full-time, non-exempt role offers overtime potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reliable, independent individual with willingness to learn in a mission-based environment.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, general apartment/building repairs including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting and light carpentry.
• Mechanical aptitude; detail oriented with ability to complete work orders and maintain digital records via company app.
• Good communications and strong customer service, including work in occupied apartments.
• Experience with company-issued cellular phone and related apps; on-call availability; reliable vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
