Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Dublin, OH. The role requires living in a company-provided apartment and responding to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs, manage work orders, and follow safety guidelines. EPA certification and CPO/pool maintenance skills are preferred, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-family property maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA certification required; if not held, must obtain within 120 days via company training.
• HVAC experience strongly preferred and necessary for after-hours calls.
• CPO certification and pool maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate with safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain apartment community and handle day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders per quality standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks including fittings, shut-offs, and installations.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, water heaters, boilers, and appliance issues.
• Deliver carpentry work: doors, drywall, trim, caulking, replacements.
• Do electrical repairs: switches, outlets, light fixtures.
• Repair tiles and tub surrounds; manage inventory of parts.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
• Communicate professionally with residents and co-workers.
