Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons in Collierville, TN is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician who will live on-site in a company-provided apartment and respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include maintaining the apartment community, completing work orders, performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks, and ensuring safety and quality standards. EPA certification and HVAC experience are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Prior multi-family property maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA certification required or to be obtained within 120 days of start date.
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• CPO certification and pool maintenance skills preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to effectively communicate with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and complete work orders per policy.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipe fittings, shutoffs, fixtures.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, furnace, water heater and boiler issues.
• Electrical repairs: switches, outlets, lighting.
• Carpentry and caulking including doors and trim replacement.
• Monitor inventory of common parts and supplies.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
