Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician who will live on-site in a company apartment and respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs to keep the community well-run.

The role requires EPA certification or progression toward it, HVAC knowledge, and a strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance is preferred.
• EPA certification required or obtained within 120 days of start date.
• HVAC experience is strongly preferred; pool maintenance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community and day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize and resolve work orders to quality standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks, appliance repairs, carpentry, electrical work.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, water heaters, boilers, and related equipment.
• Monitor inventory and support after-hours emergency responses.
