Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support our residential properties. You will perform a wide range of tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs, and ensure spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and staff.

You will work independently or with a team, prioritize work orders, and report issues to management. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, basic trades, and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting abilities, and sound decision-making to tackle challenges.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and residents.
• Identify and report issues to management involving employees, property, or residents.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments in a timely manner.
• Maintain common hallways and community room areas.
• Turn vacant apartments ready for leasing; remove trash from vacant units.
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs as needed.
• Handle preventive maintenance and safety-related tasks; comply with regulations and inspections.
• Be available for after-hours on-call maintenance emergencies and overtime as required.
