Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to professionally communicate with residents, vendors, and coworkers while maintaining apartments and common areas. You will lead by example with a positive attitude, work independently or in a team, and prioritize tasks for timely service requests.

The role covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, and general grounds duties, with potential for overtime and after-hours coverage as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents.
• Lead by example with a positive attitude and teamwork.
• Prioritize tasks and stay organized to meet deadlines.
• Identify issues involving employees, property, or residents and report to management.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments timely.
• Maintain common hallways and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing by turning them ready.
• Handle trash removal and assist with evictions as needed.
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Maintain exterior lighting and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs properly.
• Occasionally work after-hours for emergencies and overtime as required.
