Yugo, formerly Campus Advantage, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to safeguard the safety and upkeep of our student housing properties. This on-site role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and involves responding to residents, performing repairs, and ensuring value through proactive maintenance.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspections, and coordinating with vendors while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon literacy certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with excellent customer service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety concerns.
• Maintain appearance, safety and functionality of property and spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and repairs.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment per safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies and keep storage organized and secure.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety training; communicate with leadership about needs.
