Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and upkeep of the Kennesaw community. You will act as a liaison between residents and management, handling repairs, inspections, and turn activities to preserve the property value and resident experience.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks, respond to emergencies, and maintain pools and common areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally with high-quality repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent customer service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, and other tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas to identify safety concerns.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, safety and functionality of the property and spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by inspecting and repairing as per standards.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment while following safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for tools and supplies and keep storage organized.
