Job summary

Protocase Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

You will work with Operations, Production, and Maintenance teams to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, and help minimize production downtime. This is an on-site role with occasional after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of instrumentation, electronics, and automation.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment problems.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Production, Maintenance, and management teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, NC.
• Ability to participate in after-hours and on-call coverage, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs.
• Respond to critical equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment status information.
• Source repair parts and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
• Communicate equipment status and repair progress with Production and management.
• Work with Production and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Support improvements that increase equipment reliability and performance.
• Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call coverage when required.
