Job summary

Protocase Inc. in Wilmington, North Carolina is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our growing manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment running safely and at peak performance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate repairs with external vendors, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or similar role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site in Wilmington, NC.
• Able to work after-hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to reduce downtime and maintain reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs to minimize outages.
• Respond quickly to critical equipment issues to minimize production disruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs in the maintenance tracking system.
• Source repair parts and coordinate with external vendors for timely repairs.
• Communicate status and progress of maintenance activities to leadership and teams.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve equipment-related challenges and improvements.
