Job summary

You will prep vacants, perform routine upkeep, and respond to maintenance requests with a focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related maintenance experience, strong reading and safety rule knowledge, and solid computer skills including MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience or training.
• Computer skills including internet, e-mail, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Familiarity with common cleaning tools and proficiency in unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Thorough and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day appearance of the buildings and grounds.
• Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy.
• Inspect property and report repairs to management.
• Keep areas clean and equipment in good working order.
• Respond to requests from employees and residents promptly.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies.
• Wear uniform and present a professional appearance.
• Be available for on-call schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
