Job summary

Sentral is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our on-site property team in a residents-first environment. You will handle mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance tasks to keep buildings running smoothly.

This in-person role requires an on-call schedule and proactive prevention, safety inspections, and timely repairs to ensure quality living spaces for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical college degree in maintenance or related field preferred.
• HVAC certifications required; knowledge of HVAC systems a plus.
• Experience with hand and power tools, and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace components as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Provide excellent resident/customer service during interactions.
