Job summary

Elmington Living in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community well maintained. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs, and support on-site operations with a focus on plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, EPA 608 or HVAC certification, and strong communication with residents and teammates. Travel is minimal, and you’ll be part of Elmington’s dedicated on-site maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA Section 608 Certification for HVAC refrigerants.
• HVAC certification or equivalent required/preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification beneficial.
• Pool operator certification beneficial.
• Plumbing or electrical licenses advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete repairs promptly.
• Maintain property by performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers in all situations.
• Operate tools and company software to log work orders and times.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Elmington's non-negotiables.
• Occasionally travel up to 10% of the time.
