Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its Nashville-area properties with prompt service, repairs, and upkeep. You will respond to work orders, perform plumbing, carpentry, appliance repairs, and basic HVAC tasks while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years in property maintenance, EPA 608 and HVAC certifications, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical (when no license is required), general carpentry, pool care, roof, and gutter repairs.
• Address landscaping and snow/ice removal as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers, even in difficult situations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform service requests correctly and promptly.
• Operating computers and other devices to access email and company software.
• Adhere to Elmington's non-negotiables for service work orders and vacant unit turns.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
• HVAC or EPA Universal certification required.
• Effective communication.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools.
• Building maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
• Accurately report all time worked by clocking in/out.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
