Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Charlotte, NC community. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks while delivering exceptional customer service in a team environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of commercial/residential property maintenance experience, a HS diploma or GED, and potential certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. Weekend work may be required; strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
• High School Diploma/GED; 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must communicate clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC systems in the property.
• Perform plumbing repairs and installations (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.).
• Carry out carpentry repairs and installations (doors, shelves, countertops).
• Paint and drywall/plaster repairs and painting.
• Electrical work including lighting, wiring, and switches.
• Maintain machinery like chillers, belts, pumps, and fans.
• Other duties as assigned; provide exceptional customer service.
