Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community in Dallas. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks, ensuring quality upkeep and safety for residents and property assets.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in commercial or multi-unit residential settings, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
• This position requires a High School Diploma/GED; additional education is a plus.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• This position may require a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC systems.
• Repair and replace plumbing components.
• Repair and install carpentry items: doors, shelves, countertops.
• Painting and drywall repairs.
• Electrical work: lighting, wiring, switches.
• Maintain machinery such as chillers, belts, pumps, fans.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
