Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Raleigh, NC. You will join a team responsible for HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks across our apartment communities, with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service.

Requirements include 1–2 years of experience in a commercial or multi-unit residential setting, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications if available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–4 years experience can offset educational requirements.
• 1–2 years experience in commercial property or multi-unit residential property preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property needs.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and replacements.
• Repair plumbing and install parts (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.).
• Carry out carpentry tasks like door/shelf/ countertop work.
• Paint drywall and plaster repairs; perform painting tasks.
• Handle electrical work and appliances: lighting, wiring, switches, lamps.
