Job summary

You will troubleshoot drive systems from brands like Fanuc, Siemens and Allen-Bradley, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and collaborate with internal customers to keep uptime high.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a maintenance-related degree preferred, and strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred.
• Experience with industrial machinery preferred.
• 3+ years in maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Basic electrical skills.
• Understanding schematics/blueprints.
• Hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge desirable.
• Self-starter with proactive maintenance approach.
• Good communication across all levels.
• Mobility within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing machinery and facilities equipment.
• Repair automated machine controls, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Perform major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs and installations.
• Troubleshoot drive-related issues on Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley controllers.
• Determine root cause and document in work orders.
• Carry out preventative maintenance autonomously.
• Communicate status with internal customers.
• Advise supervisor on outside services and coordinate repairs.
• Create sketches for alterations and electrical circuitry.
• Prepare bills of material and initiate requisitions.
• Use material handling equipment as needed.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out per plant LOTO plan.
