Job summary

Yugo in Denton, TX is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure safety and upkeep of the property. You will act as a liaison between residents and management, handling repairs and maintaining value through thorough assessments.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll handle work orders, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with vendors as needed. The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), a high school diploma, and a focus on safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred if required by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally with timely repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with excellent service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs: plumbing, electrical, painting, appliances, carpentry.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas.
• Maintain appearance, safety and functionality of property and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and turn activities.
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment per safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance responses as scheduled.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety trainings; communicate with leadership.
