Job summary

Timberland Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Reserve at Moonlight in Gardner, KS. You’ll handle general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance across a 294-unit property, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and on-call rotations for emergencies.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property maintenance, an EPA HVAC license, and a willingness to ensure safety and quality in every task. Benefits include insurance, retirement, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA universal license for HVAC required.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer.
• Experience with turnover "make-ready" of apartments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, protecting the property and its residents.
• Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks for new residents.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures.
