Job summary

Sentral is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our on-site team at the Fort Lauderdale property. You will perform plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, and HVAC maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

This is an in-person role with a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergencies. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have maintenance experience or a related technical degree, and possess a CPO and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Related degree from a technical college is a plus.
• HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification required.
• Experience with hand and power tools is essential.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize strong customer service with residents and guests.
• Perform routine maintenance: painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair as needed.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Clean interior and exterior areas and machinery.
• Maintain safety and health compliance.
• Keep inventory and report needs to supervisor.
• Collaborate with contracted vendors.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies on on-call basis.
