Hunter Lodge is seeking a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team at Hunter, NY. You will ensure facilities operate efficiently, inspect building conditions, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Demonstrated understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of property
• Complete guest room work orders promptly
• Repair heating, cooling, and plumbing systems
• Respond to guest needs quickly and professionally
• Perform painting and cosmetic touch-ups
• Move furnishings as needed and support housekeeping
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs
• Keep records of repairs and service dates
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
• Inspect doors, windows, walls and make repairs as needed
