Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to uphold the hotel’s condition and guest comfort. You will lead preventive, routine, and corrective work across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, partnering with department heads to minimize disruptions and maintain safety standards.

You should have a high school diploma (HVAC certification preferred), strong troubleshooting skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; HVAC certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Proficient in a variety of maintenance tasks with troubleshooting in painting, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing varied physical tasks.
• Able to work in different environments and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Good communication skills for interactions with guests and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays to support hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Champion maintenance programs to ensure a defect-free guest experience across mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic hotel aspects.
• Maintain safety and visual appeal of rooms, common areas, and external spaces.
• Perform repairs and maintenance from simple fixes to complex rehabilitations.
• Plan and execute routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance with department heads.
• Manage engineering budget and adjust expenditures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building standards with inspectors.
• Keep blueprints current and accessible.
