Job summary

ONYX Multifamily Group in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance of Onyx Bricks on 13th, a multifamily community. You will supervise the maintenance team and coordinate with the Property Manager to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming for residents.

This hands-on role requires strong maintenance know-how, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage work orders, inventory, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in apartment communities.
• Ability to supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance including basic plumbing and electrical.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support maintenance technicians.
• Delegate maintenance tasks and prioritize work orders and resources.
• Perform and oversee general maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance issues.
• Monitor maintenance requests and ensure work orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized maintenance is needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain buildings, common areas and property grounds.
• Identify maintenance concerns and address issues early.
