Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead plant maintenance operations at our Stockton facility. You will drive equipment reliability, supervise technicians, and manage PM programs in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has a proven maintenance leadership track record in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial processing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and Process Safety Management requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with PM systems and work order processes.
• Ability to coordinate labor and maintain maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling and weekly payroll approvals.
• Minimize downtime and respond quickly to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues.
• Drive PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance records.
• Work with operations and quality teams to improve plant performance.
• Oversee external vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and regulatory compliance; support PSM programs.
• Mentor maintenance personnel and build accountability.
