Guardian Real Estate Services LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Portland, OR. The role supports the Community Manager, ensuring safety, curb appeal, and timely maintenance across two apartment communities totaling 116 units.

Ideal candidates will be organized, professional, and able to coordinate with staff and vendors. Valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and willingness to train are required. DOE, full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• At least one year of property maintenance experience.
• Owns tools and transport for job tasks.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Willing to complete company training within deadlines.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Pool certification (CPO) may be required if pool on site.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Support Community Manager to meet property obligations.
• Maintain property in compliance with laws (OSHA, fire, etc.).
• Walk property grounds daily to maintain curb appeal.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors for services and repairs.
• Record time worked and complete paperwork timely.
• Inspect property and schedule vendor work.
• Be on-call for emergencies after hours and weekends.
• Communicate with supervisor about resident questions or concerns.
• Perform maintenance of pools/spas if applicable.
