Job summary

Cambridge Real Estate Services in Portland, OR seeks a maintenance technician to perform moderate to complex repairs and preventative maintenance across multi-family properties. Living on-site may be required to meet day-to-day needs and may involve travel between sites.

This full-time on-site position requires availability Tuesday-Saturday and offers a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) match up to 10%, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, holidays, and on-going training

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience
• Property management maintenance experience preferred
• Able to read, understand and follow written instructions
• Ability to complete reports
• The ability to provide excellent customer service to residents and the public
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers
• Perform timely and professional responses to ongoing maintenance requests within the 24-hour response guidelines
• Participation in after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis
• Interior and exterior common area upkeep, including litter patrol of parking lots, trash enclosures and laundry rooms, community center and carports, and pressure washing of buildings and interior walkways
• Active participation in company-sponsored training seminars
• Other duties are assigned as required and necessary
