Job summary

DigiKey Electronics in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Planner to schedule and optimize maintenance tasks for a high-volume distribution material handling system. Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience with CMMS for work order entry, planning, and reporting.
Understanding of conveyor and material-handling systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred: 4-year degree.
Preferred: Supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

Schedule and plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders using the CMMS.
Ensure parts availability by coordinating with spare parts administrator.
Maintain backlog of tasks and prepare them for scheduling.
Review PM tasks to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with reliability engineer to use equipment history and failure data.
Generate CMMS reports to support planning and KPI tracking.
Coordinate weekly equipment accessibility with maintenance and operations.
Work with engineering teams on system upgrades and improvements.
