Job summary

Barchemy LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance for our manufacturing floor. You will develop schedules, allocate labor and parts, and ensure CMMS data accuracy to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with operations, procurement, and maintenance teams to keep assets reliable, compliant with safety standards, and ready for production with clear work orders and measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of maintenance planning or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, Fiix or similar).
  • Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance work, including labor, materials, and tools.
  • Create detailed work orders with clear instructions and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain and update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Track equipment history, maintenance records, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure parts and materials are available prior to scheduled work.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs (e.g., downtime, PM compliance, MTTR, MTBF).
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Verify & audit work order effectiveness and completion.
  • Collaborate with buyer and parts clerk to ensure PM completion, closure, effectiveness.
  • Build the annual PM plan for budgeting, planning the weekly execution of the plan.

This role works closely with maintenance, operations, and production teams to ensure work is prioritized, properly resourced, and completed safely and effectively.
