Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Trailview Apartments in Bellingham, WA. This on-site role works with the property management team to maintain buildings and oversee vendor contracts and the maintenance budget.

Responsibilities include patching/painting, appliance maintenance, and turnover readiness, plus basic plumbing and electrical repairs. A HS diploma and 3 years of skilled maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Technical certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
• Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
• Prepare units for new residents, including turnover work.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
• Coordinate and manage vendor contracts with the property management team.
