Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead site maintenance, drive safety culture, and optimize equipment performance at a single Charlton, MA site. You will oversee preventive maintenance, coach technicians, and coordinate with MM/RMM to meet client goals.
The role requires 3+ years in maintenance management, an engineering or related degree (or 5+ years experience), and certification in maintenance reliability; familiarity with conveyors and robotics is a plus.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a management role overseeing maintenance teams
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field or 5+ years of relevant management experience
- Certification in maintenance management or reliability (e.g., CMRP, PMP)
- Experience with conveyors and robotics in logistics/fulfillment centers
Responsibilities
- Champion a safety-first culture with safety training and audits
- Lead preventive/predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Monitor KPIs like PM/PdM, downtime, and OEE
- Supervise maintenance technicians and develop high-potential staff
- On-site liaison for maintenance issues and site meetings
- Maintain CMMS data and support inventory, warranty, and budgets
