Job summary

Chelten House Products, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead who will spearhead advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability on the 1st shift at our Bridgeport, NJ facility.

You will mentor Technicians, diagnose complex equipment failures, and coordinate response with Operations to minimize downtime while upholding safety, GMP, and food-grade standards in a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade education in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated advanced mechanical troubleshooting and repair capability; CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Serve as the first technical point of contact for Maintenance Technicians.
• Diagnose complex mechanical failures and identify root causes.
• Provide hands-on guidance during equipment breakdowns, repairs, and start-ups.
• Coordinate Technician response based on production priorities and safety.
