Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for a Fort Worth community to maintain and enhance property value and to assume Maintenance Manager responsibilities when needed.

The role emphasizes prompt on‑call responses, timely work orders, safety compliance, and collaboration with residents, the maintenance team, and external contractors. EPA certification is required; CPO is preferred, and basic MS Office skills are helpful for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO – Preferred.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-call and after-hours maintenance tasks.
• Close work orders within 24-48 hours and update records.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Perform sheetrock repairs to maintain aesthetics and structure.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, etc.).
• Collaborate with maintenance team, departments, and external contractors.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to uphold property quality.
• Assess safety and cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Report supply needs and maintain organized shop.
• Fill in for Maintenance Manager in their absence.
