Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking an Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Swedesboro, NJ. This full-time on-site role supports maintenance and reliability initiatives across our manufacturing environment, collaborating with engineers to optimize equipment performance.

You will update asset data, design preventive maintenance plans, and expand infrared inspections while learning from experienced mentors in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an engineering program (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• PLC and instrumentation knowledge preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Update the asset list structure in Limble CMMS.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs in Limble.
• Generate maintenance job plans for critical assets in Limble.
• Expand infrared technology inspection routes.
• Create oil lubrication program in Limble based on best practices.
