DwyerOmega is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Westerville, OH. You will work under an experienced mentor in both office and lab settings to drive process improvements in manufacturing capabilities.

You will rotate through project management, analysis of product lines, and 3D modeling/design tasks while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in instrumentation solutions and real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Interest or experience in 3D modeling/printing; SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; collaborative mindset and good communication.
• Comfortable using basic tools; mills or lathes are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Plan, document, and execute a real process improvement initiative.
• Problem Solving: Analyze product lines, identify inefficiencies, and propose smart solutions.
• Engineering Design: Create and maintain technical documentation and design fixtures using 3D modeling tools.
