Forward Air Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities across contract logistics, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate execution of core service processes. You will provide direct leadership to frontline teams and be accountable for performance, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction within your area or shift.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain) before operating MHE.
3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience with WMS/TMS/ERP and reporting tools.
Ability to safely operate MHE and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Supervise daily operational activities across receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping.
Coordinate and prioritize work for team members to meet targets.
Ensure inventory, freight, or equipment is handled safely, accurately, and on time.
Monitor workflow, labor allocation, and equipment usage.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory policies.
Lead safety observations and support safety initiatives.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and change control processes.
Support audits and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma/5S/Kaizen).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Participate in training and development of staff.
