Job summary

BlueGrace Logistics in Ogden, UT is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager for our Managed Logistics Team. This on-site role delivers frontline service, coordinating LTL and TL shipments, tracking, and documentation to meet customer service levels.

You will partner with operations, carriers, and customers to optimize modes, resolve delays, and identify cost-saving opportunities while building strong relationships and creating standard work instructions.

Qualifications

• LTL and TL experience required.
• Degree in Logistics or related field and/or 1+ years’ experience in logistics, transportation or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to identify process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from carriers, clients, and customers.
• Mode optimization.
• Investigate and resolve issues submitted by customers, carriers and/or suppliers.
• Act as a liaison between operations, carriers, and customers.
• Daily interaction with internal staff, carriers, and customer personnel.
• Prioritize workload with Operations Manager and Logistics Performance Director.
• Savings identification and cost-improvement opportunities.
• Documentation of issues and creation of standard work instructions.
• Relationship building with customer contacts, carriers and suppliers.
