Job summary

BlueGrace Logistics LLC in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to provide frontline service, booking, tracking, and documentation to meet service level commitments. This On-site role supports our managed logistics customers, coordinating with carriers and clients to move freight efficiently.

Candidates should have LTL and TL experience, a logistics degree or relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Transportation Management Systems.

Qualifications

• LTL & TL experience is required.
• Degree in Logistics or related field and/or 1+ years’ experience in logistics or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with all levels.
• Collaborative teamwork and relationship-building with customers, carriers and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from carriers, clients, and customers.
• Mode optimization.
• Investigate and resolve issues submitted by customers, carriers, or suppliers.
• Act as liaison between operations, carriers, and customers.
• Daily interaction with internal staff, carriers, and customer personnel.
• Prioritize workload with Operations Manager and Logistics Performance Director.
• Identify savings opportunities.
• Document issues (carrier, supplier, customer).
• Build relationships with customer contacts, carriers and suppliers.
• Create standard work instructions (SWI) and identify process improvements.
• Continuously review procedures to lower cost and improve performance.
