Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals Ltd. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to manage on-site railcar movements, coordinate schedules with drivers and the railroad, and support daily clerical tasks. You will enter data, prepare bills of lading, and provide customers with timely inventory reports.

The role requires proficient MS 365 skills, SAP experience, and a customer‑centric mindset, with safety knowledge and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Inventory management experience.
• SAP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong records management and data entry.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with oil companies, truck drivers, and railroads.
• Check trucks in/out, document completion, and enter data accurately into the system.
• Coordinate rail movements with railroad and staff, maintaining on-site inventories.
• Prepare bills of lading for outbound railcars.
• Conduct safety briefings for visiting drivers/customers.
• Provide customers with daily and weekly inventory/movement reports.
• Assist customers by answering questions and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with other coordinators to reconcile information and correct errors.
