Job summary

US Realty & Mortgage Inc is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Loan Processor to handle residential loan files in our Whittier, CA office. This role spans part-time to full-time hours, not remote, with frequent interaction with borrowers and underwriters to move applications toward pre-approval.

You will review files, collect documentation, input applications, and communicate clearly with the Loan Originator and borrower to ensure timely completion and accuracy of disclosures and closing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a loan processor.
• Strong knowledge of Calyx software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and sales skills; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review of the loan file.
• Collect and package files for submission to the underwriter.
• Collect updated documents from borrowers and third parties.
• Input applications in Desktop Underwriter and obtain pre-approval.
• Submit files to underwriter for pre-approval.
• Maintain communication with the borrower and loan originator.
• Monitor and follow up on loan conditions.
