Job summary

Lendpro Mortgage is expanding its mortgage team in Tustin, CA, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Loan Processor to support the loan process from application to closing.

The role involves reviewing applications, collecting borrower documents, and coordinating with underwriting, escrow, and vendors to meet lending guidelines. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Automated Underwriting Systems (DU / LP).
• Experience with mortgage Loan Origination Systems (Encompass preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect, verify, and analyze borrower documentation including income, assets, credit, title, and appraisal reports.
• Submit loan files to underwriting and assist with clearing underwriting conditions.
• Maintain consistent communication with loan officers, borrowers, escrow, and third-party vendors.
• Order and track services such as VOEs, VODs, title reports, insurance, and fraud checks.
• Ensure loan files meet lender and agency guidelines including FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and DSCR programs.
• Monitor loan pipeline to ensure deadlines and contract closing dates are met.
• Prepare files for final approval and coordinate with escrow for closing and funding.
• Provide excellent customer service by keeping borrowers and internal teams informed throughout the process.
