Job summary

Donor haus is seeking a dedicated Cook for a full-time, on-site role in Fresno, CA. You will prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, prep ingredients, operate kitchen equipment safely, and maintain a clean workstation to support fast-paced service.

You will collaborate with kitchen staff, follow sanitation guidelines, help with inventory and rotations, and adapt to menu changes or specials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Experience in Fresno, CA or familiarity with local food preferences is beneficial.
