Job summary

Northtown Automotive Group is seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to join our on-site team in Buffalo. This role will serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 issues, resolving complex problems across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, networking, and Active Directory/Entra ID environments.

You'll blend hands-on troubleshooting with light systems administration, mentor junior technicians, and help improve our documentation and processes to reduce downtime and improve operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Active Directory/Entra ID, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Basic security practices.
• Strong documentation habits.
• Effective communication with stakeholders on-site.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for Tier 1 support and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, networking, and AD/Entra ID environments.
• Mentor junior technicians and improve documentation and processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hardware, software, servers, and network components.
• Collaborate on-site with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
