Job summary

Sysco Baltimore is seeking an on-site Leave of Absence Analyst to manage employee leave programs and return-to-work processes. You will coordinate with HR, payroll, and business leaders to ensure compliant administration of FMLA, ADA, and state paid benefit programs.

You will review medical documentation, communicate with colleagues on leave, and generate compliance reports. Strong organizational skills and discretion are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA and company policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage Leave Requests: Evaluate and process leave requests including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability.
• Consultation: Guide colleagues on leave policies, procedures and rights.
• Return to Work: Review and audit return-to-work processes with internal and external vendors.
• Documentation Review: Ensure compliance by reviewing medical documentation.
• Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for colleagues on leave and provide updates.
• Collaboration: Work with HR, payroll, and management to ensure proper leave administration.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate confidential records of leave requests, approvals, and denials.
• Reporting: Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics.
