Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Site Leader to provide world-class on-site leadership for large, long-duration projects involving Vertiv power and/or thermal equipment. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to drive cost controls, scheduling, and resource management while maintaining excellent customer relations.

The role emphasizes start-up, site testing, safety compliance, and daily reporting to management and sales.

Qualifications

Six years of military experience in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial construction management.
Able to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and blueprints.
Able to lead and participate in start-up and commissioning of power and/or hvac equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects.
Lead multi-disciplinary on-site team consisting of Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, Customer Engineers, and subcontractors.
Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate activity on-site.
Lead and support start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects.
Ensure sufficient manpower on-site to perform start-up and testing tasks.
Provide on-site consultation with Project Leader(s) and maintain customer relationships.
