Job summary

Nicholas & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day project operations on high-profile projects across the region.

You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, architects, engineers and owners, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget while upholding quality and code compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, site safety, progress meetings, and mentoring junior staff to establish field standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience on large projects.
• OSHA-30 certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents accurately.
• Proficient with scheduling software and digital documentation.
• Experience across commercial, multi-story residential or educational construction is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the site each day and supervise on-site activities.
• Lead and manage on-site construction teams and subcontractors.
• Develop schedules, look-ahead plans, and monitor progress.
• Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and inspections.
• Lead weekly progress and safety meetings; enforce safety policies.
• Maintain thorough field records and RFIs; mentor junior staff.
