Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for our Rocky Mount, NC site. You will spearhead manufacturing engineering initiatives, drive innovation, and lead the cell team in floor support and projects focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
You will report to the Director of Engineering and operate on an on-site schedule, guiding cross-functional teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement across the Electrohydraulic Servo Valve (EHSV) cell.
Qualifications
- Experience leading manufacturing engineering initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement projects across floor operations.
- Familiarity with PFMEA/DFMEA, control plans, and SPC.
- Experience in EDM machining is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Develop strategies to optimize production and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met.
- Cover site-level responsibilities when needed.
- Own process capability and control for critical EHSV features and related assemblies.
