Job summary

GE Aerospace in Wilmington, NC invites an Advanced Lead Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement on production lines, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement standardized work procedures while collaborating with maintenance and quality teams.

You will train personnel, monitor KPIs, lead root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; relocation assistance is provided and candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a high school diploma with 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and standardized work.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to train and mentor manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized work procedures for production lines.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing process and equipment issues using data analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams on new technologies.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards compliance.
