Roth Staffing is seeking a Labor Compliance Coordinator to support labor compliance, payroll auditing, and union reporting on-site in Minnesota. The role involves working with an experienced Labor Compliance Specialist and developing subject-matter expertise over time.

The position suits someone with construction payroll, labor compliance, or related field experience who enjoys detail-oriented work and solving problems while supporting employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor compliance, certified payroll, payroll administration, union reporting, HR compliance, or a related area.
• Exposure to union environments, collective bargaining agreements, fringe benefits, or prevailing wage requirements preferred.
• Construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly union reports.
• Review and audit payroll records for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with certified payroll reporting and verification.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to wages, classifications, benefits, and reporting requirements.
• Support labor compliance audits and documentation requests.
• Maintain employee and craft classification records.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and union-related matters.
• Assist in documenting and improving existing processes and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable labor requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
